Peaceful Lake District Bed and Breakfast set in beautiful open countryside in the tiny hamlet of Garth Row, 3 miles from Kendal town centre and just off the A6.
We have 2 Double rooms with 1 flexible room on the Ground Floor which can be configured as a Double, Triple or Family room. Both are fully en-suite and enjoy lovely views of either our large gardens or hills and fells in the distance. Both rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and digital TV.
Hollin Root Farm is a great base from which to relax and explore the Lake District ( Lake Windermere is only 8 miles away ) or even the Yorkshire Dales. We are popular as as stopover between England and Scotland too.
Balcony House is Located on the North side of Kendal About 10 mins walk from the town centre. We offer you a warm welcome to our Victorian home. Our rooms are clean and comfortable, decorated to the highest standards. Free use of local hotel pool/spa/gym. TV/DVD player in all rooms.
